GVTC (GA. Virtual Technical Connection) is the virtual division of the Technical College System of GA. The Learning Management System, maintained by GVTC, is ANGEL and is used by all State technical college students to take onnline courses.

If your home college is not offering a course(s) you'd like to take fall semester, please visit our website at www.gvtc.org. click on Home and then Application. You will be taken to the login page.

Under Quick Links, on the login page, click on Courses to view the Course Catalog for the fall semester. The GVTC Course Catalog is incomplete as all of the technical colleges have not posted their courses for the fall semester. If you do not see the course(s) you'd like to apply to take fall semester, please continue to vist our site until all of the colleges have posted their courses for the fall semester.

If you do find the course(s) you'd like to apply to take fall semester, make note of the CRN number and the college offering the course(you may apply through GVTC to take courses at any of the technical colleges with the exception of your home college).

Close the course catalog and click on the Create Account link, found under the login box, to create your GVTC user account. You will receive an email with your user account information. Please maintain that email for your records as you will always need your user account information, to log into the GVTC portal.

After your application is submitted to GVTC, it is reviewed for accuracy, and forwarded, electronically, to your home college for approval by your Registrar. If your request is approved you application and Transient Agreement Form (signed by the Registrar and the Office of Financial Aid) are forwarded to the host college. If the host college registers you for the course(s) you requested you will be notified by email. The host college also provides you will all information you will need to successfully regiser for your course(s).

I am very familiar with ANGEL, however, I do not know what I am doing on GVTC at all. I do not know if I have picked my classes or just requested them. I have been accepted to be a transient student by my home college but I do not know what the next step is. Any help or direction will be greatly appreciated!
